Working for the Power Electronics Group, which covers products and associated services across a range of generator set controls, transfer Switches, switchgear and load management systems as well as remote monitoring and control software, help provide integrated system solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to help continue to offer an unrivalled level of expertise and proven track record of consistently providing tailored power solutions to meet exacting customer requirements and world-class customer satisfaction.
We are now seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Engineer in the EMEA region to join the Power Electronics team.
Duties include:
Undertaking on site commissioning of Power Electronics systems including generator control systems and associated LV and MV Switchgear.
Preparation of method statements and risk assessments for site activities and provide on site System training.
Undertake product factory acceptance tests and in some instances site acceptance tests.
Present to internal/external customers the ideas and concepts associated with Power Electronics and work cross-functionally within the organization.
Make design improvement recommendations based on investigation research and test results analysis.
Creation and testing of PLC and HMI software programmes.
The Commissioning Engineer should have an HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering; ideally also have a degree or equivalent. You should also have demonstrable experience in LV, MV, controls and/or networks and switchgear knowledge is desirable. All applicant should have experience of working with a computerized drawing package such as AutoCAD and be willing to travel in the EMEA region. You should also be able to demonstrate a desire to progress and succeed, work both independently and show you work well as part of a project team.
